September 14th-16th, 2018 at The River lodge Retreat, Alberta

  • If you are a health professional, healer, or caregiver then this retreat is designed for you. Take the time to connect with nature and rejuvenate yourself in the serene Alberta river valley, experience the power of yoga, healing foods, and meditation.
  • Enjoy 4 yoga classes (suitable for all levels) and delicious fresh food with a lighthearted approach to nourishing the soul. Your hosts will share their appreciation and approaches to health and wellness with fun, leaving you with a spring in your step.
  • The retreat begins on Friday evening with yoga, meditation, and supper. We will have a fire with an intention of refuelling our hearts, minds, and spirits.
  • Saturday will start with yoga, followed by breakfast, and dream shops with topics of goal setting or the nature and science of Ayurveda.
  • Sunday’s yoga session and meditative river valley walk will be followed by brunch and the closing ceremony at noon.
  • You’ll also have plenty of free time to relax with a book, take a walk in nature, or simply do your own thing; all scheduled activities are optional.
  • Accommodation at the River lodge retreat for 2 nights
  • 6 Healthy meals, and light snacks available all day
  • Water, juices, and smoothies
  • Tea and coffee
  • use of the amenities:
    • sauna and indoor/outdoor fire pit
    • fun activities and restorative practices
    • lots of time for relaxing, reading, meditating, napping, ect.

The food provided will be varied, vegetarian and deliciously cooked by us. The menu was prepared by Sarah and Brett, based on a diet influenced from their international travels. All dietary needs and allergies will be considered and the food respectfully prepared in alignment with Ayurveda, the science of nature and food.

Rooms vary as per the following options:

  • $500 / person in a 2 bed cabin (2 suites available)
  • $488 single private room (2 available)
  • $458 shared twin rooms (2 available)
  • $438 shared 2 person bunkbed room (4 available)
  • $408 dormitory with bunkbeds (8 beds available)

All prices are on a per-person basis. All prices exclude GST.

  • comfortable warm clothes (tuque and hoody)

Our venue is the River Lodge Retreat, hidden away in a secluded wilderness setting overlooking the North Saskatchewan River.

Rejuvenate the HEART – Scotland

Refill your energy bank and revive your spirit as you explore the exciting nature of international travel.  Participate in such activities as yoga, meditation, and personal growth workshops while enjoying nourishing food and unique accommodation. Take the weekend at your own relaxed pace.
